Trailer elective subject "Jungle Oncology"

In the elective „Jungle oncology“ we aim to clear the dense green of clinical workflows. Interdisciplinarity tends to turn into a dense jungle while being both a challenge and opportunity at the same time. Our patients often lose track of who is responsible, however, interdisciplinarity offers many advantages. To guide patients through the jungle of therapies medical knowledge, practical skills such as informing patients adequatly about procedures, planning for their care as well as repeated consultations are needed. We want to address all of these aspects in our elective making use of both live seminars and e-learning sessions. By doing so we aim to teach clinical relevant skills as well as communicative skills following a patient’s journey throughout the course of almost 20 years.
